Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

At GEOFLOT, we use cookies and similar technologies on our website geoflot.com (the ‘Website’) to ensure it works, improve the browsing experience, analyse use of the Website and, where appropriate and with the necessary authorisations, personalise content or commercial communications.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them and the options available to users to manage them.

GEOFLOT seeks to apply this policy in a manner compatible with the data protection and privacy rules applicable to the user’s location, including, where appropriate, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish legislation on information society services and cookies, applicable privacy legislation in the United States and its individual states, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and the data protection rules in the Latin American countries where we offer services.

1. Website controller

The website and services associated with the GEOFLOT brand are operated by Leads Media Digital LLC, a company incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

Email: support@geoflot.com. For further information on how we process personal data, please consult our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website may store in the user’s browser or device when the user visits a page.

Cookies may facilitate browsing, remember preferences, maintain technical functions, provide statistical information on website use, improve performance and security, and analyse how users interact with our content. In certain cases, they may measure campaigns or personalise advertising, always in accordance with applicable preferences and authorisations.

Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, local storage or other technologies that recognise a browser, device or interaction with a website.

3. Types of cookies we may use

Cookies used on the Website may be classified into the following categories.

3.1. Strictly necessary cookies

These are necessary for the Website to work properly or to provide a service expressly requested by the user. They may maintain security, manage sessions, remember technical settings, support essential navigation and manage forms or certain site functions.

They do not require consent where their use is strictly necessary to provide the requested service or allow the Website to function.

3.2. Preference or functional cookies

These remember choices made by the user, such as browsing preferences, language or other settings. Where they are not strictly necessary to provide a function requested by the user, they may be subject to consent under applicable legislation.

3.3. Analytics or measurement cookies

These help us understand how visitors use the Website, including which pages receive the most visits, how users arrive, which content attracts interest, how users navigate, whether technical errors occur, and how to improve performance and the user experience.

They will be used only where there is an appropriate legal basis and, where required, after obtaining the user’s consent.

3.4. Advertising or marketing cookies

These may measure advertising campaigns, help understand interactions with advertisements or display more relevant advertising. Where consent is required, they remain disabled until the user gives consent. The user may subsequently withdraw or change their preferences.

3.5. Third-party cookies

Some Website functions may depend on external providers, which may use cookies or similar technologies depending on their services. Depending on the functions active at a given time, these may include analytics, advertising and measurement providers, communications or security services, video, maps, chat or other integrated functions.

The specific list of providers and cookies may change when tools are introduced, replaced or removed.

4. Consent and cookie settings

Where applicable legislation requires it, cookies that are not strictly necessary will be loaded only after the user has expressed their preferences.

In particular, for users in jurisdictions that require prior consent, GEOFLOT seeks to provide mechanisms to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, configure preferences by category, and subsequently change or withdraw consent.

The option to reject non-essential cookies will be accessible and will not require the user to accept them first. In the European Union and Spain, this approach is based on the criteria established by data protection authorities for valid cookie consent.

5. Users in the European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where European or equivalent privacy and cookie rules apply, GEOFLOT will handle non-essential cookies in accordance with their consent requirements. Consent must be freely given, informed, specific, unambiguous and withdrawable.

Browsing the Website alone does not constitute consent for cookies that require authorisation. Users may withdraw consent at any time using the settings tools available on the Website.

Cookie consent must be distinguished from acceptance of the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions or other legal documents.

6. Users in the United States

US privacy legislation may vary by the user’s state of residence and the circumstances in which GEOFLOT is subject to a particular law.

Where applicable, GEOFLOT may provide mechanisms to reject certain uses of personal information, opt out of targeted advertising, manage tracking technologies, and exercise other rights recognised by applicable legislation.

In jurisdictions recognising universal opt-out mechanisms, GEOFLOT may recognise technically compatible signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where legally required. For example, Colorado currently recognises GPC for certain rights concerning the sale of personal data and targeted advertising.

Application of these rights may depend on whether the relevant state legislation applies to GEOFLOT and the user.

7. Users in Latin America

GEOFLOT offers services and content directed at different Latin American markets. Rules applicable to cookies and tracking technologies may vary significantly between countries. Where appropriate, GEOFLOT will apply local privacy, consent, transparency and user-rights obligations.

For users in Brazil, GEOFLOT will take into account the applicable requirements of the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD) and guidance from the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD). The ANPD recommends, among other measures, that consent-based cookies remain disabled by default and that users can easily reject non-essential cookies.

In other Latin American countries, GEOFLOT will adapt its consent and rights mechanisms where local obligations apply.

8. How can you manage cookies?

You may manage your preferences using the cookie settings panel available on the Website, when enabled.

You may also configure your browser to block certain cookies, delete existing cookies, request authorisation before storing cookies, block third-party cookies, delete certain cookies automatically, or apply other cookie settings. Blocking some cookies may affect certain Website functions.

9. Strictly necessary and optional cookies

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent some Website functions from working properly. Rejecting analytics, advertising or non-essential functional cookies should not prevent access to essential functions.

GEOFLOT will not condition access to its general content on accepting non-essential cookies, unless a particular function technically requires a technology and this is permitted by applicable legislation.

10. Cookie duration

Session cookies are automatically deleted when the browser closes or the session ends, depending on its settings. Persistent cookies remain stored for a defined period or until the user deletes them.

The specific duration depends on the cookie and provider. Where a detailed inventory exists, it may include the cookie name, provider, purpose, duration and category.

11. Updating the cookie inventory

As GEOFLOT modifies, updates or expands its Website functions, the cookies and technologies used may change. The inventory should therefore be considered dynamic.

Where appropriate, the cookie settings panel will display updated information about active cookies and allow users to change their preferences.

12. Third-party technologies

Certain pages may incorporate services provided by third parties. These parties may set their own cookies or use similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

GEOFLOT does not control all technologies used directly by third parties when users interact with their external services. We recommend consulting the relevant providers’ privacy and cookie policies where appropriate.

13. Relationship with the Privacy Policy

Cookies may involve information processing that, depending on the circumstances, may constitute personal data. Where a cookie can directly or indirectly identify a user or associate information with them, that processing will also be subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.

The Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy are complementary documents and should be read together.

14. International transfers

Some technology providers used by GEOFLOT may be located outside the user’s country of residence. Where cookies involve an international transfer of personal data, GEOFLOT will adopt the measures and safeguards required by applicable legislation.

For users protected by the GDPR, international transfers will, where appropriate, use a mechanism recognised by applicable legislation.

15. Protection of children

The GEOFLOT Website is primarily directed at businesses, professionals and users interested in fleet, vehicle and asset management solutions. GEOFLOT does not intend to use cookies to deliberately collect personal information from children.

Where applicable legislation establishes specific requirements concerning children, GEOFLOT will apply the corresponding measures.

16. Changes to this Cookie Policy

GEOFLOT may modify this policy as necessary due to legislative or regulatory changes, changes in technologies, introduction or removal of providers, changes to Website functions, or changes in its privacy practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with its last-updated date.

17. Contact

If you have questions about this policy, cookie use or related information processing, please contact Leads Media Digital LLC — GEOFLOT at support@geoflot.com.

Important information

This policy is designed to provide an international framework for cookie information and management for users in different jurisdictions. Specific obligations may vary by the user’s country, state or jurisdiction, the cookies used, the technologies implemented and the characteristics of processing carried out by GEOFLOT.

Cookie choices on the updated website

On the updated Geoflot website, use “Cookie settings” to withdraw your choice and reopen the consent banner. The consent cookies cookie-config and cookie-categories remember your choice for 180 days on the website’s host. The collaboration landing uses geoflot-cookie-choice-v1 in local storage for the same period. These are necessary to remember your privacy choices. The slideshow and this policy page do not install analytics or advertising tools. Embedded forms and booking services are provided by LeadConnector and must be assessed separately; this inventory does not claim to list all storage used by external services.

The landing can also remember calculator settings in session storage (geoflot-demo-calculator) when you allow optional Preferences. This lasts for the browser tab session and is removed if you withdraw that preference; the calculator remains usable without it.
